The parish of St Mildred, Poultry in the City of London covered an area that stretched north from the south side of Poultry to the corner of Princes Street and Lothbury. The church, first recorded in 1175, burned down during the Great Fire of London in 1666 and was rebuilt by Sir Christopher Wren in 1670-76, although the tower was not completed until the early 18th century.
